"I like to see licorice flavours in my grenache and they are here in spades, red licorice that is, though they are delivered in a context of finesse, and of sinewy structure. We have a very good grenache on our hands here. It’s ripe but not sweet, shows fragrant herb notes without being hard or overt, and feels both serious and openly delicious at once.
