// Biodynamic Manzoni Bianco, fermented on skins in cement tanks
"The hill overlooking Trento, with its clayey-limestone soils, welcomes the Manzoni Bianco and matures the grapes in late September. The character of the Fontanasanta vineyards is expressed through this hybrid, born of a mix of Riesling with Pinot Bianco.
Its ability to evolve overtime requires patience; Fontanasanta Manzoni Bianco is a wine that really comes into its own at least three years after harvest." - Foradori, Winemaker
"A delicious wine made from Manzoni Bianco, a crossing of Riesling and Pinot Bianco. Here, it's vinified on the skins in cement tanks before ageing for around seven months in acacia casks. The result is an aromatic, complex white with scents of melon, summer meadow flowers and clay. In the mouth it's intense and sapid, with fleshy fruits and lovely freshness. It's still a bit tight, so give it some more time in the bottle to unwind." - 93 Points, James Button, Decanter
"The 2024 Manzoni Bianco Fontanasanta slowly awakens in the glass as nuances of gravel dust and wet concrete blow off to reveal a pretty blend of ginger-infused peaches and lime zest. This opens with noticeable weight yet quickly firms up as a pop of brisk acidity and salty minerals meld with tart orchard fruits. Zesty and intense, almost saline, the 2024 forces the mouth to water as exotic inner florals slowly fade." - 92 Points, Eric Guido, Vinous
