// Organic Cabernet Sauvignon
"A quintessential expression of Frankland River Cabernet Sauvignon, shaped by a dry growing season and defined by impressive intensity, structure, and site-derived minerality. This is a wine of brooding power and precision, where depth of fruit is seamlessly balanced by a fine, ironstone-driven acid line reflected in the freshness of the wine. The bouquet is deep and layered, opening with dark plum, brambles, and blackcurrant, interwoven with savory notes of Italian herbs. Subtle floral lift and restrained, finely judged oak frame the fruit rather than dominate it, while underlying mineral tones hint at ironstone and flint. The palate has power yet composed, delivering concentrated blackcurrant and plum with an assured sense of drive and tension." - Frankland Estate, Winemaker
"Medium-bodied, juicy red fruits, a rosehip perfume, some cedar, mint and dried herbs. It’s a lively wine, quite succulent in sweet red fruits, some tobacco and again this sort of dried rose perfume, a light almost smudgy grip to tannin, with a slightly nutty finish of good length. Lovely wine here. No shortage of energy and charm." - 93 Points, Gary Walsh, The Wine Front
"What a joy this wine is. Soft and slippery and a touch powdery in texture, a lot of perfume, a juicy, bright and fresh feel to taste. Blueberry, mulberry, sage leaf, sea spray, light clove and cedar notes, subtle choc-licorice, raspberry nougat going on in scents and flavours. Oooh, yeah. Such pleasure-zone stuff here, such a wonderful, easy drink." - 92 Points, Mike Bennie, Halliday Wine Companion
