"From the San Pietro vineyard, south-east facing, on the hills of Gramogliano in Corno di Rosazzo (Udine), Friuli Venezia Giulia. Fermentation and aging carried out in concrete tanks, with 6 months of contact on fine lees. The aromatic profile is refined and restrained, opening with delicate notes of wildflowers that define a precise and elegant bouquet. On the palate, the wine shows vibrant acidity, perfectly balanced by a marked salinity. The progression is taut and vertical, leading to a clean, mineral finish with flinty notes and a long, savory persistence." - I Clivi, Winemaker
"Wildly fresh, the 2022 Friulano San Pietro opens in the glass with a burst of exotic florals, giving way to green melon and candied lime. This is soothingly round, nearly creamy in feel, yet expertly balanced by a core of juicy acidity as ripe orchard fruits swirl throughout. The 2022 tapers off perfumed and long, leaving a tart, citrusy concentration punctuating the experience quite nicely.
