Description
"Jack Daniel’s 10 Year Old Tennessee Whiskey highlights the modern day world-class whiskey expertise of the distillery while honoring the past, and with a nod to Mr. Jack’s original bottles includes its age stated on the label as the distillery did more than a century ago.
Over the past decade, the ebb and flow of Jack Daniel's whiskey into the barrel wood of handmade American White Oak barrels driven by the seasons and varied temperatures at different locations in rick houses resulted in an intense and unique whiskey. On the nose you will smell dry fig and raisin laced with oak. The richness on the pallet coats the mouth as warm butterscotch mingles with soft fruit and smoke that finishes incredibly long with sweet tobacco and spice. More aging in the barrel means more complexity, more flavor, more layers of oak, char and spice for a distinctive taste." - Distiller's Note
"This is really quite a decadent dram with aromas of Madeira, pecan pie, maple syrup, and crème brûlée leading to cherry, dried apricot, and honey-roasted nuts on the palate. The complexity here is impressive—it’s a standout among recent JD limited releases.” – 9/10, Phil Dwyer for The Whiskey Wash
