"Classic Margaret River complexity in a glass featuring grilled hazelnuts, sea spray with lemon and grapefruit. The palate is generous displaying a fleshy texture, saline acidity, notes of nougat. It finishes with a lovely citrus pithiness and preserved lemon flavours." - Andrew Bretherton, Winemaker
"Quite a bit of struck match and associated funk, lime rind and lime, spice, minted green apple, some sea spray. It’s a lively and spicy wine, some green bean and cheese cloth flavour in the mix suggests a mix of sulphide and on-the-cusp-of-ripeness fruit, but it does have tension, positive flinty texture, and solid length with a somewhat steely finish. It’s a style some will fancy, though it’s a little too zingy and worked for me." -90+ Points, Gary Walsh, The Wine Front
