"Blocks Road Cabernet Sauvignon is named after one of the founding vineyards that produced the four original wines of Kilikanoon in 1997. Clare Valley Cabernet Sauvignon remains limited in production however is highly sought after for its depth and persistence of flavour and elegance. Bright and crisp, this wine fills the core of the palate and continues to radiate with cassis and blackcurrant flavours. "This really is an outstanding Cabernet for this price. It’s now heading towards seven years of age, and yet it’s retaining such vibrant youthfulness throughout. It’s structured, poised and almost effortless as it drives through to its long finish. Chocolaty dark fruits on the nose weave into the palate, which has excellent structure of tannin and neatly applied oak.
