Description / Reviews
"Offering a bouquet of fresh red fruits, with aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries, and a touch of rhubarb, enhanced by a pretty floral lift. The hint of earthy forest floor adds depth, while robust spice and pepper aromatics build the wines profile. The palate is medium-bodied, with fine tannins that lend a silky texture. The red fruit flavours carry through from the nose, balanced by a gentle acidity that gives length to the wine.
After 8 months of French oak maturation, this wine has developed nuances of dried herbs, subtle oak spice, and a touch of vanilla- adding dimension without overshadowing the purity of the fruit." - Land of Tomorrow
"Tart and fresh, crunchy and distinctly red fruited. This has all the strawberry, cranberry drink, pomegranate juice with a dash of rosehip tea plus some woodsy spice elements lending a bit of pizzazz. It doesn't quite go the distance. Feels a bit one dimensional, too. But what's here is pleasing, varietal and easy to guzzle." - Mike Bennie
