Description
"Sourced from a blend of several clay/limestone parcels situated in the communes of Uchizy, Viré , Chardonnay and Bussières with varying altitudes of around 200 metres. The vines are worked according to organic and biodynamic agricultural practices, vinified in foudres and aged on its fine lees for six months before racking and bottling. The wine shows generous fruit aromas and is characterised by its fresh, thirst quenching style, without being simple." - Importer's Notes
"In tank for fining and filtering to bottle in mid-May. Lemon yellow with a green tint. Fresh fruit aromatics, apples in particular. Then fleshier on the palate, lowish but adequate acidity. Juicy and attractive, to drink early." - 87-89 points, Jasper Morris for insideburgundy.com
