"Nebbiolo is one of the world’s great Rosato/Rose varieties and Longview has over a 20-year history producing this wine. The famed 1-11 clone of Nebbiolo makes up most of the blend for our Rosato with fine tannins adding texture and is complemented with a small portion of Pinot Nero for perfume lift, improving line and fruit persistence. Our Nebbiolo vines, first planted in 1995, are cane pruned, shoot thinned, leaf plucked, and bunch thinned to ensure optimal ripeness for this late season varietal. Individual blocks and press cuts are fermented separately to maximise blending options with lees stirring post ferment to build complexity" - Winemaker Notes
