Description
"2023 Pinot Noir is a blend of barrels, the fruit comes off the Stefano Lubiana Granton Estate Vineyard with 20% of the fruit coming off the Close Planted Vineyard (high up on the western side of the estate planted in 2019 1.3HA). The Close Planted block I grow on my own and this is the first vintage I am using the fruit. The remaining 80% is from older estate vines, off both soil types (clay and gravel). There is a lower level of whole bunch (30%) due to the year. 1 full year in 228L barrels. Bottled onsite unfiltered. From certified biodynamic vineyards. Compared to the 2022, the 2023 is more drinkable on release, tannins are smoother and the fruit is more fresh and crunchy but with intensity." - Winemaker Notes
