"Monte Tondo’s vineyards are among some of Soave’s best: Monte Tenda, Monte Foscarino, Monte Gazzo and Monte Tondo. Founder Gino Magnabosco works closely with his children Luca and Marta, to make minerally Soave wines from 100% garganega, including tiny quantities of sweet wine, Recioto di Soave, with the ripest bunches semi-dried in small crates in ‘fruttai’. Gino invested in Valpolicella in Campiano to make the San Pietro from corvina, rondinella and molinara, semi-dried in ‘fruttai’ for 6 weeks prior to fermentation. Located close to Verona, Monte Tondo offers rooms and apartments, with architecture reminiscent of its rural village setting." - Joval, Importer
