"Our historic wine, produced from 1971 to 1981 as Chianti Classico Montevertine and since 1982, following our exit from the Chianti Classico Consortium, simply as Montevertine. "The 2023 Montevertine is elegant, polished and supremely beautiful. It's a mid-weight Montevertine that will drink well on release. Supple fruit and soft tannins are the signatures of a wine that is already approachable. Cedar, spice and pipe tobacco lend aromatic presence.
