"With the release of our 2021 vintage, we have significantly reduced our production volume to focus on improving quality; as we decreased the size of the blend, our winemaking team has had the opportunity to hand pick the best lots. The selection and blending process has become much more intense and focused, allowing our winemaking team to select vineyards and blocks that tell the story of how a Mount Veeder Napa Valley Cabernet should taste and feel—ensuring that it has the layers, complexity, and energy seen in our signature mountain-inspired style. We have a very precise and thoughtful sourcing strategy, only selecting fruit from vineyards that exhibit the character and complex flavor profile that reflect the character of our estate vineyards on Mount Veeder and signature house style. For our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, we include fruit from our Mount Veeder estate vineyards in the final blend to add complexity, character, and to ensure that our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is imbued with the style and character of the wines from our mountain estate." - Mount Vedeer, Winemaker
