"This is an impressive red wine. It’s the depth of fruit that impresses the most, especially as it’s in the context of freshness and complexity. It tastes of boysenberry, black cherry and roasted plum, with bay leaf, graphite, leather, peppercorn and licorice influences. The general flow of flavour is excellent and is not impeded by the swathe of grainy, fine-meshed tannin.
