"A block and barrel selection from two prized sections of our Greenock vineyard. A wine that bursts from the glass with hints of cassis, scorthed earth, juniper and pipe tobacco. A second consecutive cooler year evokes hints of violets & provides some freshness and tension through the palate. Savoury notes of bay leaf, liquorice, briar and hot sand provide some complexity. "Bright crimson with vibrant fruit aromas of blackberry and black cherry along with hints of spice rack, pipe tobacco, cedar, pencil shavings, licorice, dried herbs, forest floor and blackforest cake. Velvet-like fruit on the palate, full bodied and super pure with a real contemporary feel to its form.
