Pucelles is an extraordinary 1er Cru vineyard in Puligny, situated just next to Batard Montrachet Grand Cru. The fabric here is a little more loose than the neighbouring Grand Cru's allowing a supple, even tender, stacked mid palate. There is brilliant complexity on show here at this early stage. Pucelles always offers extraordinary aesthetics and elegant lines as a young wine, and this is no different. Extremely fine.
