Description / Reviews

"Smart, suave, deeply fruited and smooth going all the way, a blended grenache from the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale just makes sense. It’s a perfect fit. Brings damson plums, purple berries, blueberries with earthy regional notes, light florals and fragrant spice to the aroma. Moves easily across the palate, clean, contained, with an attractive core of earth, briar, leaf among the black fruits, blueberries, gentle aromatic spice and warm oak toastiness. Tannins contribute to a linear line throughout. Quite the charmer. 2026 – 2036." - 94 Points, Jeni Port, Wine Pilot

"Bright mid-crimson in the glass with a flash of magenta. Lifted aromas of crunchy red plum and red berry fruits over hints of Medina spice, purple wildflowers, crushed stone, grilled fig, raspberry coulis, charcuterie and earth. It leans slightly savoury this year, with some toothsome chew to those fine, silty tannins, and I like its mid-weighted flow and drive on the palate, the flavours stretching out as it fades. A very enjoyable drink." - 93+ Points, Dave Brooked, Halliday Wine Companion

"Deep red with purple in the rim, the bouquet savoury, smoked meats and preserved plums. The palate is intense and firm with grip and bite, snap and crackle. A sweet core of fruit and serious tannins around it. Lovely cleansing tannins with a freshening touch of bitterness." - 92 Points, Huon Hooke, The Real Review
