Description / Reviews
"Hand harvested. Indigenous fermentation in French oak barriques, 10% new French oak barriques. Full wild malolactic fermentation, lees stirring during winter and 20 months maturation on lees in barrique. Appealing smoothness due to prolonged aging on lees in this release, with abundant flavours of toasted almonds and butter, citrus fruits and lemon zest complemented by sweet pastry and golden straw. There is a soft richness on the mid-palate, leading to a tightening focus on the finish that enhance the wine’s length. Great cellaring potential up to 10 years." - Philip Shaw, Winemaker
