Secondary aromas include hints of warm spices such as tonka bean and nutmeg. On the palate, this cuvée’s fresh character is combined with a refined structure and delicate roundness. “Created from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards in this oldest Champagne House. It has a glorious pinky/orange colour and a nose of climbing roses and pink sweet peas. The palate reflects lots of figs and pomegranates with edges of cherries, raspberries, guava, deep pink grapefruit and pistachio nuts with hints of mint. 55% pinot noir from Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne - 18% of which is vinified as red wine (to give colour) and 45% chardonnay from Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims chardonnay enclave.
