"Sitting on a ridge of old volcanic red soils in Merricks North, most of the Scorpo Vineyard slopes gently to the north, whilst the main block of Pinot Gris sits on a cooler south-west facing slope at the back of the property.

Each batch was gently whole bunch pressed, fermented in old French oak barriques, where it remained for just over 4 months on gross lees prior to racking and bottling. The result is a lovely concoction of spicy apple and honey dew aromas and mouth-filling flavours, with a fruit density that keeps things centred and provides the foundation for a very serious Pinot Gris." - Winemaker Notes
