Description / Reviews
"Handpicked in Woori Yallock. Lusatia Park was planted in 1985 on red volcanic soils. Basket pressed and fermented on fluffy lees in a combination of used French-oak (barrique, demi-muids) then combined and aged for a further 4-months in an 8-year old 1,200-litre foudre." - Sentio, Winemaker
"Sourced from two vineyards, basket pressed, fermented on lees and aged in foudre and barrique. So refined, so Beechworth. Offers a classic picture of regional chardonnay intensity delivered delicately and fine edged. Bright citrus to the fore, quince, melon and stone fruits with a juicy lemon pastille note that adds a tangy succulence. Creamy lees texture with added nougat flavour is a lovely feature across the middle palate, matched to mouth-watering acidity. A straight, taut, long line to the finish." - 95 Points, Jeni Port, Halliday Wine Companion (2024 Vintage)
