"Supply River Mill Vineyard is situated on the western slope of the Tamar River in northern Tasmania. We have been a family operation for two generations and produce a single-site Pinot Noir, always selecting the best fruit in limited quantities from hand-tended vines that are now reaching maturity. Only the best two-tonnes of fruit is used for our single-site Pinot Noir. Fruit intensity is key with the emphasis on small bunches. The 777, 114 and 115 clones were picked in early March with a small parcel of the 8048. Clones were vinified in small batches. The select fruit then had eleven months élevage (French oak, 35% new barrique from Taransaud) before careful blending. An elegant, alluring wine. The 2024 Supply River Mill Vineyard Pinot Noir has vibrant ruby hues. The bouquet is an enticing mix of red berry, savoury, white pepper and spice notes. The primary palette is of rich red fruit and summer pudding, with fresh light chewy tannins, a generous mouthfeel and a long textured finish. Delicious to drink now." - Winemaker Notes
