"Deep and intense red-purple colour; there are charry, graphite, tar and broken ironstone aromas overlying background blackberry/cedar cabernet fruit. This is quite a different wine to the straight cabernet of this vintage. There is a touch more muscle, more grip and more astringency, partly due to acidity. Intense flavour and ageworthy structure.
