Description
// A blend of two White’s Valley Grenache vineyards. A plot of organically grown bush vine Grenache planted in the 1960’s and another on terra rossa soil planted in sections from 1970’s-1990’s. 91% of the blend was matured for 8 months in 500L old puncheons with the remaining 9% put in stainless steel tank on light lees for texture.
"Focused, pure aromas of raspberry puree, dark cherries, plums, violets, dark chocolate and baking spices. The medium-bodied palate has finely tuned tannins and bright acidity that lead into blueberry compote, cinnamon bark and cola. There’s a lovely depth and texture to the fruit with a well-balanced structure. Drink or hold. Screw cap." - 94 points, James Suckling
"Floral and perfumed with notes of black cherry, cherry blossom and lavender, layered with dry oregano, earthy undertones and a hint of baking spice. Vibrant red plum and raspberry are complemented by savoury spice, fine-grained, svelte tannins and a mouthcoating texture, with a lingering, elegant finish." - Winemaker Notes
