"A blend of 60/40% shiraz/cabernet. Yarra Yering's experimental take on an Aussie classic. This was fermented and matured in two 500L Spanish clay amphora. A deepish, bright crimson purple. Complex and discreet with aromas of dark fruits, crushed violets, wet stone and a subtle herbal nuance. Medium bodied and persistent with superfine tannins on the composed, elegant and nicely balanced palate. A quite lovely new wine from this great producer." - 96 points, Philip Rich for Halliday
