"Pinot Noir makes up 70% of our total production. The wine is a blend of eight clones farmed organically (non-certified) with yields around 500 grams per vine. Natural yeast and malolactic fermentation occurs in 30% new oak for 11 months. "The first foray into winemaking for star viticulturist Tim Brown, De La Bêche comprises a trio of Burgundian wines grown on his 0.5ha high-density Taradale vineyard. The site was established in ’21 at a density of 15,000 vines p/ha, planted mostly to pinot noir with a little bit of chardonnay and aligoté, with the first vintage in ’24.
