Description
Arnaud Baillot's house style is one of purity and aesthetics. If there were one village in Burgundy where these features are most wanted, its Volnay. The utter beauty and proportions of Volnay are preserved by Baillot's gentle hand. The Brouillards 1er Cru is on the border of Volnay and Pommard, and as such this wine shows more brood, soil and dark cherry fruit of Pommard. Very classy, and a full 1er Cru experience from the moment the wine is opened. It will age gracefully for a decade or more.
