"Domaine des Ardoisieres comprises of 4ha of organically farmed (practicing biodynamic) 50-60yo vines on limestone scree and clay-limestone soils in Apremont. Estates like this prove that Savoie can produce wines with as much quality as Burgundy or Jura. The slope can reach a 70% incline, and the yields are very low.
Made from Mondeuse grapes , this wine expresses the purity of the fruit and the unique minerality of the slate soils. It is distinguished by its deep and brilliant colour, offering intense aromas of ripe red fruit, black pepper, and subtle floral notes on the nose.
