"The 2022 Riesling trocken is harvested in the neighboring villages of Nussbaum and Weiler, which have similar soils to Monzingen but are a little cooler, plus the younger vines up to five years of age from Monzigen sites. The nose is immediately bright and somewhat floral; white summer blossom charms with a touch of smoke and bright lemon. This is most enticing. The palate is super-light and just as scented, tender and bright. The 2022 is lovely and light-footed. The six g/l of residual sweetness disappears as the acidity is vivid.
