Description
"The “Vide Bourse” displays phenomenal structure with aromas of spiced peaches, citrus blossom, mandarin and honey.
Joseph Colin initially trained at Domaine Marc Colin, working alongside his brother, Pierre-Yves, to make the family wines. In 2016, Joseph decided to create his own Domaine, and, subsequently, inherited just over six hectares of vineyards from his family holding, representing about nineteen different appellations, to start his exciting new venture. “Vide Bourse” is from a 0.13-ha vineyard located right below Bâtard-Montrachet. Joseph Colin is only one of five other producers with holdings in this vineyard." - Clos Cachet, Importer
"The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Vide Bourse is deeper-pitched than the ethereal Caillert, revealing aromas of pear, ripe citrus fruits, toasted nuts, buttery pastry and white flowers, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and structured palate with good depth at the core and an orange-inflected finish." - 93 points, William Kelley, Wine Advocate
