"The two parts are vinified separately, than pressed and blended with new wine, according to the ancient method called Governo Toscano. After that two weeks of skin maceration, in order to extract the color and other polyphenolic substances, the wine spend 3 months of aging in French wood. Governo is a full bodied red wine, rich and creamy, with bold tannins and a long, lightly spiced finish." - Importer Notes
