This one fantastic night of champagne education - tantalize your tastebuds and experience exquisite aromas and textures while learning about that wonderful wine – Champagne! Ten champagnes are tasted on the night, including non-vintage and vintage champagnes, to examine House styles and highlight the differences between specific years. Bernadette O'Shea will take you on a marvelous trip through the world-famous vineyards of La Champagne, France!
Bernadette is a holder of the prestigious Vin de Champagne Award, which recognizes her knowledge of Champagne. For her services to the champagne industry she has been inducted as a Dame-Chevalier of the L’ordre des Coteaux de Champagne and was made a Dame Officier of the order in 2010 and in 2014 appointed “ Dame Chambellan”. In addition, Bernadette has been awarded the Diplôme d’Honneur Corporation des Vignerons de Champagne or St Vincent’s Award for her champagne teaching. She has also been invested with the Chevalier de l’Ordre du Mérite Agricole, a knighthood from the French Government for her work in the champagne industry.
