"Ota Shuzo was founded in 1874, the owner’s are descendants of Ota Dokan, the famous samurai who built Edo castle, the present imperial palace in the centre of Tokyo. The Ota family is the proud owner of a beautiful old brewery on the old trade route from Tokyo to Kyoto.
This ‘Dokan Daiginjo’ sake is a very fine and balanced version of Junmai Daiginjo. A bold fragrant nose leads to ripe melon & fennel aromas. The palate has a light touch of sweetness and a robust round mouthfeel. Great as an aperitif or with lighter styled dishes." - Black Market Sake, Importer
