Description / Reviews
Taking over the family domaine in 2018, Pascal Pernot quickly gained respect and admiration as a top Gevrey-Chambertin producer. Pascal’s great grandfather was chauffeur to the Liégard family of the Château de Brochon and subsequently inherited some vineyards (including the holding in La Croix Violette). The Domaine was established in 1900, with Pascal as the fourth generation, and surrounds the village of Brochon with a total of 7 ha. This cuvee is from Fixin and Brochon, located on the hillside with eastern exposure. Destemmed and given a three week maceration. Half has been raised in older wood and half in stainless steel for 12 months." - Clos Cachet, Importer
"The fruit in Les Prielles, on the stones, suffered a bit so Pascal started picking there. A delicious bouquet with ripe but not excessive raspberry fruit. Attractive crunchy fruit with some depth and length. Half has been aged in barrel and half in tank. Drink from 2026-2028." - Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
