Description / Reviews
"A more deeply pitched nose speaks of plum, violet, forest floor and newly turned earth. Here too the medium-bodied flavors possess a lovely texture even though there isn't the same refinement on the mildly rustic youthfully austere and relatively powerful finale. This is a quality Gevrey villages." - 89-92 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound
"The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Village comes from a single parcel. It’s slightly deeper and more lucid in color than the Morey-Saint-Denis, offering spirited red cherry and cranberry scents on the nose with an underlying flinty element. The medium-bodied palate has crunchy black fruit, a little edgier than the Morey, with a lively, quite structured finish. Well worth seeking out." - Neal Martin, Vinous
