Description

Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey's Rosé de Pinot Noir is a rare and quietly captivating expression of Burgundy, crafted with the same precision and sensitivity that have made PYCM one of the most sought-after names in white wine.

Sourced predominantly from 55-year-old vines in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune near Nolay, with a touch from Santenay, this rosé is made by direct press and aged in neutral oak barrels before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Pale pink in colour, it opens with a delicate perfume of wild strawberry, rose petal, and crushed stone, underscored by a subtle citrus lift. The palate is finely etched, taut, mineral, and saline, showing brisk acidity, silky texture, and depth. It possesses serious structure and finesse, evolving beautifully over time. Produced in minuscule quantities and rarely seen on shelves, this is not your average summer rosé, thoughtful, terroir-driven wine with both charm and reputation to back it up.
