"Our 2023 Estate Chardonnay offer notes of meyer lemon, nectarine and orange blossom on the nose. There are hints of rich honey nougat and crème brûlée on first impression, and this is followed by a core of lemon, lemon balm and peach. "Light straw in the glass with aromas of white peach, nectarine and citrus fruits along with hints of nougat, white flowers, riverstone, crème fraîche, spice and oatmeal. A little less of the struck-matchy action with this release but the wine itself is no less alluring. Plenty of detail and delineation of flavour with tautly-formed citrus and stone fruits flowing across the palate thanks to a seam of bright, minerally acidity. "This is a creamy and nougat-laced expression of Chardonnay. Aniseed, nectarine, butter and sage, with a little pink grapefruit.
