"Named after springtime, we have been making the Primavera Chardonnay since 1998. This wine is a bright and fresh expression of Chardonnay and is a blend from our two Estate vineyards in Granton, Derwent Valley and Cradoc, Huon Valley. These two terroirs build a layered falvour profile, the richness coming from the Granton fruit meanhwile the brightness coming from the Cradoc fruit. All of the Chardonnay is matured in a mixture of vessels - mainly the juice fills 228L barriques, with some seasoned 500L Austrian oak foudres and a stainless steel tank." - Stefano Lubiana, Winemaker
"Chardonnay sourced from Granton Estate, Derwent Valley and Cradoc Estate, Huon Valley. Pale straw with expressive aromas of white peach, lemon, nectarine and grapefruit along with hints of crushed stone, white flowers, almond meal, clotted cream, sea spray and nougat. The fruit swells nicely on the palate and that vivid southern acidity provides velocity and a vivid clarity to the wine's travel on the palate. The wine draws out on the finish with plenty of spiced stone fruit, citrus and meal." - 94 Points, Dave Brookes, Halliday Wine Companion (2024 Vintage)
