Description
Valdivieso, one of Chile’s most historic wineries, has been a pioneer since 1879 when it became the first in Latin America to produce sparkling wine.
This is a blend of old-vine Carignan and Mourvèdre from Maule Valley, a powerful yet refined red born of the Vigno movement, which champions the revival of historic Carignan. Deep garnet in color, it opens with aromas of blackberry, raspberry, dried herbs, leather, and garrigue spice. The palate is vibrant and structured, balancing fresh acidity with earthy depth, firm tannins, and notes of black cherry, plum, tobacco leaf, and crushed rock.
