Description / Reviews

// 85% Corvina Veronese, 10% Rondinella, 5% Oseleta and Croatina

"Potpourri and fresh herbs on the nose. Palate shows alcohol-soaked Morello cherry, leafy, tobacco, dark chocolate, and coffee. Dense and lush with evolving spice and a hint of woodsmoke. Good typicity." - 91 points, Decanter Amarone tasting panel

"Very complex nose of bay leaves, dried prunes and blackberry jam, enhanced with leather and a bit of restrained chocolate. Velvety tannins flow on the palate, with a full body, zesty and cleansing acidity and a savory finish of toasted black pepper and chocolate. Drinkable now, but best from 2029." - 95 points, Aldo Fiordelli for James Suckling

"350 metres above sea level, after careful selection the grapes are left to rest in the drying room for a period ranging from 3 to 4 months in crates, paying attention to the spacing between bunches to promote
proper drying. The dried grapes are then pressed and macerated on the skins for 15-20 days. The new wine is then aged in oak barrels for a period of at least 36 months. Elegant, spicy, with hints of cherry, morello cherry, dried fruit, and plum. Round, velvety, enveloping, soft. Make sure to open the bottle at least an hour before consuming." - Zenato, Winemaker
