"This wine from Domaine Bertrand is a tribute to the centuries-old vines located on the “En Boussoy” plot. Situated in Saint-Martin-sous-Montaigu and nestled among Premier Cru vineyards, this 85-are plot benefits from soil rich in iron oxide and limestone pebbles, with a north-northwest exposure. This exceptional terroir imparts a unique complexity to the wine.
The nose of the 2022 “En Boussoy” is marked by aromas of licorice, wild berries, and spices like clove. On the palate, it is distinguished by its finesse and length, offering the sensation of chewing ripe fruit. It is fresh, elegant, and subtle, with notes of fresh wood and young forest. On the second sip, anise and violet nuances emerge, while the second nose reveals aromas of leather.
