Description / Reviews

// 100% Pinot Noir, 80% destemmed and 20% whole cluster.

"Plot planted in 2008 with very fine plants in 161-49 on a limestone hillside facing South-East. The soil is superficial, on the rock in certain areas. The youth of the plot, its terroir as well as its exposure make it the earliest develop plot of the estate. We use controlled organic products, and we maximize manual labor  disbudding, trimming, leaf stripping, green harvesting. This is the estate’s Marsannay vintage which shows the most finesse. Its structure develops a superb balance, with a floral touch. A very airy and suave wine." - French Flair, Importer

"A charming and elegant wine with abundant finesse and perfumed raspberry fruit with a floral edge. The texture is silky and fine, more about perfume than power. The grapes are from 0.21ha of young vines planted high on the slope in thin soils. Owner Michel Naddef makes a separate cuvée of Champ Perdrix from purchased fruit under his own name, but the family parcel produces a wine of great elegance. 20% of the grapes were vinified as whole bunches, and the whole is aged in 20% new barrels. (Drink between 2025-2045)" - 94 Points, Charles Curtis MW, Decanter
