"Whole bunch pressed and fermented and rested in terracotta eggs for 6 months before bottling in October 2025. Another single vineyard at Village level pricing. Scary Gully Vineyard - the highest part of the highest vineyard sitting at approximately 620m. Bony quartz soils and the altitude mean a wine that has some serious tension, and hence the need for a little residual sugar. Always the last pick of the year for Gentle Folk and it’s usually in the clouds (hence the label) so it’s a nice cool day in the vineyard picking delicious golden Riesling bunches in autumn. Whole bunch pressed and fermented in terracotta eggs for 6 months. Residual slightly down this year to 7 g/L." - Winemaker Notes
