"A Pinot Noir with alluring perfume, concentrated satsuma plum and ripe berry flavours and a gamey undertow, framed by silky tannins, perfect for pairing with duck, game or barbecued meats. Designed for relaxed, easy drinking with friends and family. Handpicked and handmade with care and skill, it expresses the perfect, tiny patch of Tasmania where it was grown.

Our growers Paul and Rachel hand tend this little patch on heaven at Rosevears in Tasmania's Tamar Valley. Rachel's dad planted the vineyard back in 1978, when the Tassie wine industry was truly boutique and they continue to farm it and honour his vision and legacy. It's perched up high, with incredible views up the down the Tamar River and out to the coast. It really feels just like an old world European vineyard, with its narrow rows and low trellis. The vineyard is dry grown and produces wines with fantastic concentration and elegance.

Hand harvested fruit was destemmed to a traditional open fermenter for a cold soak to extract fine, supple tannins before fermentation and gentle hand plunging, with a total of 23 days on skins. Natural tannin from dry grown vines provides concentration and structure, giving the wine verve and persistence. Maturation for 6 months in French oak barriques and hogsheads on fine lees, with 10% new oak." - Kiera O’Brien, Winemaker Notes

"Rivulet is such a beautifully poetic name for a wine brand. It’s the creation of Kiera O’Brien, who took something of a roundabout or road-less-travelled journey to wine growing and wine making; her journey was more of as rivulet than a river, so to speak. As will become obvious over the years to come, she and her Rivulet brand are 100% names to watch and to follow." - Campbell Mattinson for The Wine Front
