"The 23 Cab Durif started pretty juicy but ended up being a bloody cracker! The 24 Cab Durif is a monster from the get go. Super rich, soft tanins and naturally juicy... we ferment it in Speidel Egg Tanks in a slow gentle way helping to promote it's natural juiciness! We then throw a small whack of Durif into the final blend to give it a bit more punch in the mid palette making it an exceptional wine to have with a bit of lamb cooked over the coals, or shared with a cracking afternoon charcuterie board between mates." - Winemaker Notes
"Sweet fruited, plush and swishy red wine with currants, cranberry, dark cherry, mocha, cola and lashings of minty and pretty herbal notes in play. There's a young port kind of note in the wine; the slipperiness in texture suggests that, too.
