"Produced since 2001, Occam’s Razor has always come from purchased fruit from the Heathcote region. The first 18 vintages from a vineyard in Mia Mia, the fruit now comes from two sites, primarily from a vineyard in the north and a small parcel from near Lake Eppalock. Made in a similar fashion to the Jasper Hill wines however different vineyards and picking early create a completely different wine." - Jasper Hill, Winemaker
"'Less is more' is a firm philosophy of Emily and Nick McNally and is celebrated in this Occam's Razor Shiraz. Generously elegant, it carries well-ripened fruit with a rare self-confidence, well structured and expertly tailored in fine tannins. The fruits offered are as dark and intense as the colour of the wine: blackberry, cassis, spiced blueberry, plum, licorice and briar, with lifted, lasting notes of baking spices and a pinch of pepper.
